The wool fabric combined with the rabbit fur makes it feel like you have a cushy toaster on your head. When you first put it on it feels like it's actually generating heat! I got the medium size and it fit perfectly and I usually wear a larger size hat so unless you have a fat head the medium will work. A size small wasn't available.
