Great combination brush for 99% of dogs.

While it's hard to get too excited when testing a dog brush, this combo dog brush is really good. First, it's very strong, easy to hold but keeps its shape and doesn't feel like it's going to break during use. The handle has a comfortable rubber grip and hanging hook, and the brush has two sides for two different brushing styles. One side has thick synthetic black bristles that are soft and good for combing short-haired dogs or removing loose hair. The other side is metal bristles (with nicely rounded edges) which can be used for dogs with longer coats or for detangling and combing dry skin or itchy areas. The coolest thing about this brush is that it has a rubber insert in the head. brushes in which the bristles make such movements (in a good way) when brushing; It maintains contact with the dog's body but adapts so as not to cause discomfort when combing. The price of this brush was very good compared to its high quality and durability, most likely great for home use on all but the very long haired puppies. A few minor issues: Dense bristles can be a hassle to clean, and the metal bristles don't adhere to the brush in any way other than the matching rubber insert, so they bend and shift over time. I've seen similar brushes in stores and beauty salons. Seats that cost about $12 so overall it was a great deal. Don't let these small imperfections stop you from buying this brush if you are looking for it in the market as this is a great pet brush.
