Perfect for my needs

Exactly what I was looking for! I only use 3-4 knives and probably 85% of that is a kitchen knife. I like to try/buy different brands of knives and have a few relatively expensive ones, I didn't want the edges knocking on the drawer or seeing if they would fit in a random block. It's perfect. For me, a good knife is like art and that shows it off beautifully. Bamboo is really high quality and strong. The magnet is strong and holds even the shortest steak knives in place. The pair of knives can be too short not to "tilt". 4 chef's knives fit easily on the stand. Plenty of space for me, but maybe not for others? For those who said the block will tip over if you pull out the knife. Yes, it is true. If you pick up the knife from the block, the block will be pushed along with it -- This is probably true of anything with a larger surface area than a utility knife. The only way to make this not tip over and still have a strong enough magnet was to put some ugly feet in front of the block. If you don't have that block under the closet, all you have to do is pull up instead of toward you, or god forbid hold the block while you pull toward you. And really, it just has to be done for something more than a service product.
