snap-what? - Hand tools

I used to be an auto mechanic and I have a toolbox full of quality tools. The snap-on tools were among the best, especially the adjustable wrenches. They were made unlike any other, they had an amazing chrome finish that felt silky to the touch. A Snap-on rep told me it only took one extra step in the finishing process to make them look and feel this good. These wrenches are meant to be part of the industrial line of snap-on tools. I was delighted to find such a good price on a Snap-on tool. Well when I opened the box and saw the key I was a bit disappointed. . . The biggest disappointment was the "China" engraving on the cheeks. No wonder they are so cheap, they are made in China. A good quality wrench but nothing special, just another Chinese tool.

Pros
  • The scale on the head conveniently shows the size of the fasteners
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
