I give this product five stars unreservedly, two thumbs up! It saved the life of my then arthritis guinea pig (Benny who passed Christmas 2014) and used it on my guinea pig Zika who had two abscessed teeth (losing bottom teeth as a result). He is now five years old and has lost weight. Tried every trick in the book but his poop still isn't hard and he's only gained a little weight. He gets his meals finely chopped with hay, treats, vitamin C, probiotics, and oats, but has a hard time eating lots of hay and refuses his pellets (never a big fan either). I'm pretty sure this will solve both problems, and took up a suggestion from one of the reviewers to make a treat with Critter Care, oatmeal, and peanut butter. I'll dry them for tomorrow morning. In the meantime, I gave him Critter Care, water, a probiotic, and a vitamin C mix. Based on my shirt, towel, and his chin, I don't know how much I was actually forcing him to eat, but he enjoyed it so much that he shaking and trying to bite the tip of a feeding syringe!
