At 11 feet it's incredibly difficult to find shoes let alone the right shoes. But finding hiking boots was particularly difficult as you have to get bigger and hardly any hiking boot brands offer a size 11.5 or 12. Anyway, thank God for Solomon. Based on reviews of them being narrow I ordered a 12th (my foot is quite narrow but wider at the toe) and they fit perfectly and didn't need to be broken in. They're so light I can even walk in them and they're totally waterproof. In Ireland I stepped into some serious swamp water that soaked my boots but left my socks dry. I was shocked by the breathability and lightness of the boot. I'm an avid hiker so not having the right boots was very difficult. Hooray for that! Expensive but worth it!
