I bent the cable at the end to prevent this, but it's not a very good design. ✅ FIT, PROCESSING, QUALITY (10 out of 10): Plastic and fans feel high-quality. The fan is relatively quiet and runs smoothly. It's a heavy weapon, which tells me they're using high quality plastic. ❌ VALUE: (4 out of 10): You can get a full-size shotgun with more attachments and a 4-year warranty for less. The Master Appliance comes with a 1-year warranty.⚠️ SPECS (6 out of 10): The first few times I turned it on and then off, the nozzle gave off a burning smell and smoke.⚠️ OVERALL RATING: 6.8 out of 10 (Cost really reduced.) DETAILED REVIEW You can get a full-size 4-nozzle, 4-year warranty heat gun at Revain for less compared to Master Appliances' 1-year, 1-nozzle warranty. Or you can get a mini variable speed hair dryer similar to the Master Appliance for less than half the price and with the same guarantee. BENEFITS ✅ Master Appliance plastic feels very thick, good quality plastic, hard and heavy. The fan runs smoothly and quietly. Sounds expensive.✅ Includes a nozzle for heat shrink tubing. This is an invaluable nozzle when using heat shrink tubing. NEGATIVES❌ First, when using the heat gun stand, the design of the cable also rests against the cable, causing instability. I was able to bend and shape the cable protector, but that's not an inspiring design. (See picture)❌ Second, after the gun had been running for about a minute and then stopped, the smell of burning and smoke came out of the nozzles. Decrease with use. Again, this is uninspiring. ❌ Third, why is this gun almost $25? CONCLUSION AND FINAL THOUGHTS I can't comment on the absolute quality of the gun, but the plastic feels high-quality and durable, and the fan runs smoothly, vibration-free and relatively quietly (I have another brand to compare). However, you can get a full-size gun with more attachments and a 4-year warranty for less compared to Master Appliances with 1 attachment and a 1-year warranty. This product met expectations but did not exceed them. But for the price I would look elsewhere.
