I needed a way to keep the carpet at the bottom of my stairs from shifting when my elderly mother rolls her walker over it. These sticky carpet grips work great. There are a total of 16 pieces in one box, that is 8 sets, which is enough to glue all four corners of two carpets. The handles indicate which side goes to the floor and which side goes to the rug (they mark it as a rug) to keep it in place. You lay them at right angles and you can place them close together or far apart depending on your needs. I am currently using the second set in the box to tie a piece of carpet tile under my dog's food bowl, but the beauty of these ties is that you can reuse them. Just scrape them off the floor and carpet, rinse and they're still sticky and work on another carpet to keep it from moving. I'm very glad I found her. They work great for what I need.
