Very easy to assemble. Tip: Before inserting the pink bars, wait until you have tightened the tall black bars at the bottom with a screwdriver, then turn by hand at the top until it stops. We use heavy, large towels for our bath mat and the problem is that our wall hangers stay on the wall. I wish we had found this product before we stuck it all the way into the wall because it works great! The stand is so light I thought it would definitely not be able to handle our heavy towels but it is! It's high enough so they don't hit the ground. I was a bit nervous about the pink as it doesn't go well with my decor but the towels cover it up so it works great. We use it for beach towels and I also use it to dry my swimsuit as it slides easily onto the open side of the pole. Bonus! A must have if you need a free standing towel rail, you won't be disappointed!
