Review on 🌞 30W Solar Panel Monocrystalline 12V High Efficiency Module for RV, Marine, Boat, Water Pump Off Grid - Newpowa by Steven Saric

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The panel was packaged in a sturdy cardboard box and arrived in perfect condition.

I cannot express how impressed I am with the quality of this panel. It's been very cloudy at the moment and I've only had it installed for 2 days, but there's enough power for what I'm using it for. I connected 4 computer fans to it to ventilate the garage. At 10:30 a.m. it was delivering 0.43 amps and 15.3 volts to the fans in full cloud cover. I'll probably turn on the fans at a higher amperage to lower the voltage a bit. Update: I set the fans to a higher speed to draw more power at 12:20pm with mostly sunny skies, the panel is outputting 19.5 volts DC at 1.05 amps to the fans. That equates to 20.5 watts at a voltage that's in excess of the maximum rating, so obviously I'm very impressed. These fans are rated at 121 CFM at 24 volts and I suspect they put out around 100 CFM at 19.5. I hooked up four of these so I now have 400 cfm of high pressure static airflow for free :). It was packaged perfectly, my only warning is that the glass on the glued side of the inner box showed towards the seam, which I wasn't expecting. . I was very careful cutting the ribbon but if you are not careful you can scratch the glass. The frame of the panel is very strong. I made 2 slots in each so I could attach them to the clothesline with zip ties and it worked great. The ends are double wall aluminum so you don't have to drill closer than 1/4 inch from the end, which I found the hard way when drilling the first hole in a double wall. The cables and the sealing on the panel were all well done too. There is a small sliding door through which you can see the wire connections. I don't currently use a solar controller but have used ultra connectors on all my wire connections it would be easy to plug one in. On cloudy days, the displayed power drops to 10-25% of the maximum. I'm seeing 24.7% of max power at 10:30 am under cloudy skies, so I'm pretty happy with that. You can't see the sun through those clouds so it's very cloudy and wet as hell on top. The panel wires don't have connector ends, which I wouldn't use anyway since I installed Ultra connectors (Dean connectors). They are ideal for small projects and can handle up to 30 amps. which is redundant in this case. keywords=ultra+plug&qid=1565546276&s=gateway&sr=8-10 So all I can say is that overall I'm very impressed. The polysolar crystals look so pretty holding them sideways up to the light which I hated putting up outside, it's practically a work of art lol.
