The monitor has a decent brightness and corresponds to its frame rate. The picture quality isn't the best, but the monitor's advantage is its gaming capabilities. I had to return this product because the screen kept going dark while playing and while working. Good monitor for the price, but after a defect I decided to switch to a monitor with a lower frame rate but better picture quality.
