Review on Homelove Stoppers Stackable Doorstop Surfaces by Barbara Murphy

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Only 1 inch high, may not fit all doors unless you double them.

I have an 8 month old Siamese kitten who opens doors and gets in trouble. These doorstops prevent them from opening my bag and the closet's double doors. If your doors are more than 1" off the floor, unfortunately these 4 packs of rigid flexible plastic doorstops will not fit 4 doors. A combination of two doorstops might solve this problem, except in my situation the hard plastic slides over my shiny porcelain tile and allows my cat to shut the laundry room door. I was expecting these doorstops to be more flexible and taller. They are more like hard plastic than pliable rubber, had they been more rubbery the two stops on my tile could have stayed in place. At 1" tall these doorstops are not tall enough for all of my doors and are 1/2" shorter for some doors. They're working on my carpeted bedroom doors. It's hit or miss. I might pick up similar stops at the Dollar Store. Love how they stick to the door handle when not in use. I just wish they were bigger as 1 inch isn't big enough for most hard surfaces and you have to use two together. $8.49 for 4 doorstops supplied is economical if you need four 1" tall doorstops.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • There are some downsides
