Show image cuts off boarders of displayed image from my Xbox.

I wasn't expecting much but it would be really cool if I could change the dimensions of the displayed image I'm using a very old TV with a brand new Xbox which in itself is a little bit of a goofy experience however I thought this might be able to solve my problem I know eventually I have to buy a new TV but I had hoped this would solve my problem it's kind of did.
