I have recently developed symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome, likely due to my work as a medical esthetician and the constant movement and grip required to operate the equipment used during treatment. I was looking for a good brace that would support my wrist while still allowing my arm enough freedom of movement to do its job. Today I tried it for the first time during my work day and found it to be a pretty mediocre product. The neoprene fabric is very stretchy so I had to wrap it fairly tightly to provide some wrist support and I found the strap was too short to wrap deep enough to do this fully. I thought the sharp irritation I felt all day was the edge of the Velcro rubbing against my skin, but as soon as I took it off I realized it was the stretchy seams that pushed me through the day. I'll try again with an ace bandage wrapped underneath, but I could probably get as much support as this, if not more. I really wanted it to please me, but I can't say it has significantly improved or alleviated my wrist pain. Still looking for the best option.
