Cheaply assembled but good for your headphones.

Looks pretty cheap but does the job. Comes in three parts: metal handle/leg, bottom silicone shell/base, top silicone headphone stand. Silicone parts are sucking in. The product is mainly supported by an arm that doubles as a leg. The silicone base piece sits flat on whatever surface it rests on, but it's not perfect. Swings easily but doesn't look like it's actually going to fall. The main reason I like this product? The silicone headphone stand is because it is made of silicone and is long/wide and contoured. It has some flexibility so it follows the contour of the headband pretty well. It also distributes the weight of the headphones over most of the strap rather than a small square like most headphone stands. Many other headphone stands can leave marks on the headband over time (especially if it's a cushioning material). This stand doesn't have to do that as, again, it has a large footprint. The brace is basically the same width as my HD 800 S headband so it doesn't sit in a "channel" but sits perfectly on top of the silicone. The product description made this clear prior to ordering, but again, this is the only product I can find that should not damage the headgear pad over time. My earbuds fit perfectly and I'm not afraid they'll ever slip off. There's also plenty of room on the underside of my headphones, even with the headband fully extended. Were it not for the simple but good design and material of the headphone mount itself, this product would have gotten 1 or 2 stars for its price - it's just cheap to put together. but it works fine.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Too long to wait
