The microphone makes a solid impression. Range tested up to 150 feet. The sound quality is good. Runs on 2 AA batteries. The receiver's antenna is a thin pin, so handle it carefully. The built-in battery of the receiver was empty one hour after the first use. The good news is that it works when connected to a USB cable. Please note that a USB charger is not included. The microphone and receiver are packed in foam. The downside is that the microphone doesn't fit in the foam windscreen box.
