Review on πŸ”Ή Paula's Choice BOOST Moisture Renewal Oil Booster: Ceramides & Argan Oil Serum for Redness Relief and Dry Skin (0.67 oz) by Dana Young

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Let's get back to modern basics.

I had oily skin when I was younger and would NEVER think of putting anything oily on my face, although my skin has become a bit drier in later years. My daughter found a facial oil she loved and recommended it to me. To my surprise, I liked it too, but the price was outrageous. I checked the ingredients and compared them to the ingredients in Paula's oil and was happy to see many repeats PLUS Paula added PEPTIDES which are one of the few ingredients that actually improve wrinkles (NOT just affect the "appearance" of wrinkles). , which is a lower standard). I use it separately on my face and hands twice a day along with a PC hyaluronic acid application, layering in two layers. I then apply Paula's lightly tinted sunscreen, Resist Super-Light Daily Wrinkle Defense SPF 30. As each product absorbs, it dries to a soft, matte finish. I don't need foundation, but sometimes I use a little translucent powder. In the evening, after hyaluronic acid and moisturizing oil, I use Paula's Resist Light Night Cream and Anti-Aging Eye Cream. It's thick, so I warm it up a bit in my hand before applying. I am 68 years old. I am attaching a photo of myself taken without makeup three months ago. (I had a really sore eye as you can see in my photo. Of course it had nothing to do with my skin care routine!)
