Review on Edelbrock 1223 Pro-Flo 3-Inch Round Air Filter Element with 14-Inch Diameter in Sleek Black Finish by Gary Cole

I've had a '94 C1500 since 1998. I've always hated dueling air cleaner bolts. I finally bought an offset stud adapter and needed a nice looking air cleaner housing. I wanted an open panel to use my 442 style range hood. Most were $70 and up. Saw this half price and immediately added to cart! The Edelbrock lettering looks like either a vinyl sticker or thin paint. It is flush with the surface. The paint seems to be of good quality, enough to withstand heat and greasy fingers anyway. You may need a more expensive case made from thicker material if you want to show off your car, but it's good enough for a 30-year-old everyday driver. I wish I had bought it decades ago.
