3 outlet works well because it fits easily into an outlet and can be charged from USB ports or wall outlets. The good thing is that it works and doesn't seem to affect performance. At first I thought the smartphone holder was useless but I decided to use it and I like the fact that it's there; this is ideal for short USB cables. The bad news is that the jacks on the surge protector are insanely difficult to connect. When I first tried it, I felt like I was about to break the surge protector. Switching off requires the same effort. So when I unplugged it I found I had to take the whole thing off the wall or press the surge protector against the wall or the surge protector would just pop loose. I'm not sure I would buy it again because of that. I've used others before and had no issues connecting and disconnecting. It works though, so I'm relatively happy with it.
