Getting Started. We ordered three boards for our family and we had a great time all summer long! We chose inflatable boats for their portability and were very satisfied. I'm 5ft 1in and it would be difficult to unload a standard plank from the roof of a car. We have an experienced boarder and two beginners, so I was a little concerned about the stability of the inflatable. My 14 year old daughter can use a pump and pump it full so we all do it ourselves and it worked great. We sit down with our two dogs and even with light winds or currents, stability wasn't an issue. The boards are very durable, but we just put a yoga mat on the edge to be on the safe side. My husband is 6ft 1 at 180lbs and I am 5ft 1 at 150lbs so they are good for everyone.
