The hat was perfect - the mittens didn't stay on

This hat was perfect for my baby from 18 months to 2 years in winter. This kept his head warm and dry, and the Velcro kept it in place. He stretched a little so that by the end of winter he had almost lost his chin. The mittens were thick and warm, but they didn't stay. They don't tighten around the wrist (the elastic didn't help much) so they often fell off when my son tried to use his hands.
