Nice; Ideal for children; They need bass boost to get the best out of them; Available

I bought these Edifier headphones for my son. He's in elementary school and they're using a Chromebook. So of course I got him a Chromebook and these headphones for Christmas. All three (my son, Chromebook and these Orange Edifier H650 cans) look great together. Learn in style! Obviously, these headphones are for kids and teens, boys and girls, and anyone who likes fun and bright colors. They have a low cool factor. They just look weird; I can't put it any other way. Get the Disney logo printed on both sides along with the Frozen Princess and you have a million dollar item here. They're not cheap plastic toys, but they look a lot like toys. They are smaller than I imagined. Again, they appear to be designed primarily for children. I thought my pair of JBLs I bought a few months ago were small, but my JBLs are monsters compared to these edifiers. Again, they are perfect for children or teenagers. Despite being smaller and more compact than regular earbuds, these cans have plenty of headband adjustments. I can circle them around my large male watermelon fairly easily. And the smaller shells cover my ears so well that they don't let any background noise through - for example when typing on the keyboard. I have to admit I like her. They're just neater than hell. And the colors – orange here – look great! Fun and bright. I couldn't be happier. A few things to note: The cable cannot be removed and replaced. So if it ever goes wrong, the banks are dead. Even though the earbuds are small, you can fold them up even more compactly; So you can pack them into your stuffed backpack without much effort. The ear pads are soft but durable. It's rubbery, not soft. It's not much, but it's there. Let's talk sound quality: Of course, with a retail price this low, music lovers can stop reading HERE and go to Bose or Sennheiser or whatever is available because these headphones can't sniff. They have an unbalanced sound profile that tends heavily toward high frequencies and upper mids. BUT, BUT, BUT, with a little help from your iPod's EQ, these can be easily offset by boosting the bass. This creates what I would call a full, bright and rich sound that pulls out the best cymbal and drum beats on any rock track. The vocals really stand out. It's pretty scary at first. If you have the opportunity to boost your bass, these headphones will surprise you with their vivid, clear and clean sound - bright and alive to look at! Can't beat the price. Highly recommended! Easter Egg: Three dots in Braille mean L,,, or left.
