However, this doesn't appear to affect functionality as the sensor has been working properly for the past 3 weeks.
Purchased from another seller to replace a faulty factory sensor in my 2007 Subaru Outback (79 to 81 degrees winter). The main difference between this sensor and the OEM sensor is that the OEM has a raised sensing element while this AX212 has a flush mount sensor, although there are some blobs of what I assume could be plastic glue. does affect functionality however as the sensor has been fairly accurate for the last 3 weeks it has been in my car.
