I ordered these because my late dad's old Pioneer speakers have screws that you can attach speaker wire to. They didn't work for me because they were too big. But it was up to me. However, the manufacturer has stated that one of those screws, which you use to tighten the wire inside the part, must have come loose during shipping. I couldn't remove the cover because the screws were sticking out. I couldn't put them back in, so I had to cut off the lid with my dremel to be able to use it without the lid. The other three were fine. When assembled at the factory, they must be tightened enough to prevent this. I'm sure it was an accident. But it could easily have been prevented.
