Use a drill to pre-install the crimp in the rack.
The final product looked pretty good. I would suggest inserting the crimp into the drill and screwing it about 90% into the post and THEN installing the wire and crimp. Once everything is crimped you can tighten them in the same way. If you pre-assemble the clips and wire before screwing the ferrules onto the posts, you're going to have a bad time.
