I have bought several pairs of these welding gloves at my workplace and the reviews have not been very good. They complained that the stitching unraveled after just a few days of use. The weakest point was between the thumb and forefinger, usually where they began to separate and create a hole, leaving the hand exposed. One of the guys did not notice this, and part of the sweat slag got into the glove and burned his hand. Overall these gloves represent good value for money but unfortunately you get what you pay for. The quality is poor and they are definitely NOT suitable for building. They're probably good for grilling or brick oven pizza, but not for welding or torch work.
