K&N has always made quality products. This washable filter is no exception. Just look at a photo of a factory cabin air filter and you will see why you pay $40 for this product. Installation instructions are in the box. All you need is a T15 bit and a ratchet to remove the four screws holding the lower glove box. See photo of installation. The K&N filter is marked "Front" on one side and has a small protrusion so the filter can be easily removed for servicing. A single rinsing process is enough, and depending on the quality of the competitor's filter, you can already cover your costs. I would buy it again but I won't have it either!
