Review on Peak Design Travel Tripod: Lightweight & Sturdy 5-Section Aluminum Camera Tripod by Charles Adelaja

Good tripod for travel, fits full tripods

Well, everyone can admit that this is a bit pricey. I went with aluminum because it's a lot cheaper and from what I've read probably more durable than the carbon fiber version. I'm not a fan of twist locks and love how quickly I can attach the camera to my head. And I know it's locked The legs fold in easily when I'm in a hurry and I know when they're all locked, unlike twist locks. It feels good in the hand, because of the shape and size I really appreciate it for traveling. I didn't notice any problems with vibrations in the wind, but the day of shooting wasn't too bad. It fits perfectly in my camera bag and doesn't swell up like my previous one. I took it mainly for trips and trips. I have a good strong Manfrotto but carrying it around is just outrageous. It does the job, although it feels like it's heavier than it should be, but the size makes up for it. Another thing is that it would be nice to have a coating on it because when it's cold aluminum freezes your hands. Otherwise I don't really have any problems.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Modern
