I was expecting more fragile glass but for everyday scotch drinking for this type of slanted glass they are growing on me. I had several round (not diamond) shapes and both broke as they rolled off the tables. Its shape is perfect for a table, bed, sofa, whatever (I put my glass in weird places when I'm drinking whiskey and it doesn't spill well). I would recommend it for everyday use, I wouldn't say it would be a party highlight (not delicate and seems useful due to the thickness of the glass I think) but the logo is cool and I really like the glass design . Thick glass can spoil the aesthetics, but it adds practicality and durability. I got them on sale for about $20 for two, which isn't bad for a whisky. It's possible to use some weight on the bottom, but thicker glass has the same effect (because it's tilted you can't have a solid glass base).
