However if they last long it's a good price, I cut off my keys and spent an incredible amount of time trying to figure out why I couldn't get them to program. 06 Pontiac G6. Right after programming they seemed to work, but after uninstalling and reinstalling they didn't work. In the end I decided to go to a local shop where they cut them up for me to test the transponders. If you are unfamiliar, there is a chip in the keys that is powered by a signal from your ignition switch, after which the key sends out a signal at a specific frequency. Where keys are cut out there may be a tester that turns on the key to see if it responds. Their purpose is so that they can tell their customers whether they can make a key for them or not, as they are not allowed to make transponder keys. Neither key responded to the tester, but my original key did. Both keys were marked with a plus sign. It was a hassle but the company ended up refunding $8 because the keys didn't work. I think they thought I was an idiot. I cut the keys and they have chips, apparently there was a bad batch. I noticed that others commented that they had problems too. Find a store that has a transponder tester and test your keys before cutting them. I've spent a lot of time and frustration trying to figure this out. I bought some keys from another vendor and they tested them well and I had them programmed and up and running in less than a minute. I am torn on how to rate the product but this is a good price. When I emailed them around 9am I got a reply around 9pm so you might be thinking that USA Remotes would be in which country? This meant 1 round of emails a day and it was painful, they let me find the actual PM for my key which took me at least an hour of my time so I sent them the PM and they said ok you want one Refund. Why did they waste my time looking for the real PM when they just wanted to offer a refund. i wasn't happy Much luck!
