I have not yet taken the fobs to the dealer for programming, but I have tried to program the transponder keys. They don't work in the 2006 Grand Prix. The Pontiac owner's manual says the keys should be marked PK3, but these keys are not. I ordered PC3 from another supplier. They cost $10 each. I'm hoping for better results with keyless fobs. Update from 07/08/21 - a replacement order came in and it couldn't be programmed by a locksmith from the start. The locksmith then used his programming tool to erase all active key fobs associated with the vehicle and any additional key fobs as well as the original key fob could be programmed.
