This antenna seemed like a good option to me because my FR-S has a black vinyl roof sheet and the black OEM shark fin antennas have a metal flake that won't go on hard gloss black vinyl. The size is a bit larger than OEM shark fin antennas, but that doesn't bother me. The size of the antenna is still in proportion to the rest of the car. Installation was very easy. Simply unscrew the original antenna and attach the new antenna cable with the supplied threaded bolt. 3M adhesive tape is already attached to the underside of the antenna. Make sure to heat the tape with a hair dryer or heat gun to activate the adhesive prior to installation. As for the fit, it's 90% correct. According to my setup, there is a small amount of gaps in the back and front, but it's hard to notice. I'm pretty specific about such things, but it's so minor that it doesn't bother me. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase considering the price, quick delivery and easy installation. I will update if there are any problems in the future.
