They are SO inexpensive
This dish was used for my red footed turtle Rosie. He's had it since he was about the size of my thumb until now, when he weighs 2 pounds and is about 6 inches long. When he was little, he could easily get on and off. Now it's big enough for him to fit in. They are made as strong as possible. I only knock on her once. The heavily textured plastic makes them very difficult to clean. But I've kept mine for 6 years and only bought a new one because I just built a new cage.
