My favorite tire pump broke down after many years of use. I bought this heavily influenced by the reviews. I don't think it's as good as my previous pump in some important ways. Pros: Appears to be durable and well built. It moves a significant amount of air with each squeeze. tested it on my very accurate car pump gauge. Cons: The valve lock is much stiffer than my previous pump and doesn't hook easily. When it's time to shoot, it "hangs" on the stock. My old one almost fell off. I'm concerned that this pump might damage my stems as I'm having a hard time removing them. I suspect this is because it can be used for both Presta and Schrader valves with just one adapter. My old one had a reversible adapter which I prefer based on my experience with it.
