These are soft, the perfect length for me and a size M fits as expected. I'm 5ft 5in and about 155 lbs. Turns out slightly longer than mid-thigh. They are high waisted but never too tight. Compression is just right for me. Not too tight, but still contains everything you need. The pockets are suitable for the iPhone XR, albeit a little tight with a wallet. I run in them and wear them in my free time simply because they are comfortable. I will definitely be buying a few other colors.
