This is an export radio that covers 24.715-30.105MHz in AM-FM modes only. After unpacking, before turning on the device, firmly press the AM/FM button, turn on the radio, press the AM/FM button and a letter of the alphabet will appear, which will be your bands. Use the up and down controls on the radio or mic, scroll until you see the "I" band, just turn the radio off and on again, you are on the ten meter amateur band, after setting your band to ten meters. You can set your repeater offset and -5kc to your preference for 10 meter FM repeater operation. The CTCSS functions are easy to set in the menu. C band is 40 channels below normal Cb band, D band is normal national 40 band, E band is 40 channels higher than normal 40 band. For those in other countries, you can move the jumper in for multi-mortem frequencies and select your country of work from the menu. This is an export radio with many channels and functions in AM/FM mode. It is what it is and it satisfies my needs for basic offline communication. And a lot for the price.
