I have a very sensitive nose AND asthma, so when choosing incense sticks both smell and low smoke were important to me. I really liked the smell, at first I didn't even notice it, but then when it lingered, it was very pleasant. I wouldn't call it juniper, it's very soft and almost floral. But it definitely smelled earthy and natural, without any nasty chemicals. There was enough smoke to bless my altar and room, but it didn't bother my lungs and wasn't so smoky that I worried about my pets. The recording time was about 45 minutes, which I think is very fair. I wasn't happy with the price for only 20 sticks which I now understand isn't that much for $12. But I really like that it's local and organic. It's way better than breathing in chemicals. Overall I am very satisfied with this product.
