Review on 🌬️ Noctua NF-A12x25 Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin PWM (120mm, Brown) by Desmin Dickerson

I don't know why Noctua bothered to even bother with a low noise adapter for this fan, it's quieter at 2000rpm than my 140mm IndustrialPPC fans at half speed. It replaced two - yes, two - NF-F12 IndustrialPPC 120mm push-pull on the Scythe Mugen 5, cools a Ryzen 5 1600X (4.03GHz/1.39375V) and maintains roughly the same all-core load temperatures (58.8 degrees). Celsius at an ambient temperature of 23 C) as in the previous setting. The main difference here is the noise; You can only imagine how loud a pair of NF-F12s will sound at almost full speed. I can't even hear the NF-A12x25 at full throttle. I could run it at 2000rpm all the time and not bother with the PWM control, but there's no need to work that hard with the fan. Also noteworthy is the powerful effective air pressure generated by this fan. It has no problem pushing air through the Mugen 5's fin pack, which of course helps heat to escape from the heat pipe system as quickly as possible. The speed with which my processor returns from full load temperature to idle temperature is breathtaking; Not only does this fan manage load heat well, but it dissipates that heat once the CPU is done, making it crispy. As a result, my entire system is even quieter, since the PWM-controlled case fans also stop quickly. So here it is. The fan is so quiet, so powerful that the other fans in your system become quieter. Noctua has once again managed to surpass itself.
