I have been using a product called OraMD for a number of years. It is very similar to this product, GumRx. I brush my teeth three, sometimes four times a day and use OraMD at least once instead of toothpaste, but for the past few days I've been using GumRx instead. In some ways I prefer these to my usual brand. First, it's sweeter than OraMD oil. I have a sweet tooth so I prefer the sweeter GumRx but it does taste a bit oilier than the other brand. The two products contain nearly identical ingredients — spearmint, peppermint, and almond oil — but perhaps in different proportions. GumRx also contains glycerin, a controversial ingredient that can be counterproductive in oral care products. Although the two products function similarly, the OraMD product can be purchased in kits that offer a much better price than GumRx (about $30 an ounce for OraMD versus almost $40 an ounce for GumRx). Overall, while I love the taste of Maximum GumRx, I have to say that I think OraMD Tooth Oil is the safer and cheaper option. But this product is quite solid and good quality. So if you're considering it and aren't worried about the glycerin in it, just give it a try and enjoy that sweet, minty flavor!
