I wanted to sit on the couch with this device and relax my legs, but the cable is not long enough at all. It's about the length of my arms when open (my "wing span") and doesn't come close to the girth of the couch from the base next to the couch. Very disappointing. I have to use an extension cord every time I want to use it while sitting on the couch. Even if I sit on a chair closer to the outlet, the cord is still too short. I've tried other massagers and all have cords large enough to be used while lying on the couch, even from a more distant plug, and loose too. The massager itself perfectly relieves tension and fatigue in my legs. Good massage power. Just a very short cable.
