I use this for ferrets and would definitely recommend. I have used many other brands and other types of fillers and so far this is the best. It doesn't stick to their fur or track down the cage, absorbs everything, and somehow takes care of odors better than fillers that are perfumed or otherwise claim to control odor. Checks all my fields. One review said it was plastic, and I didn't see anything like it - sometimes there are flecks of colored paper, but they clearly don't have a plastic texture. I notice that I'm less concerned with the tray for a number of reasons, and it helps a little (bigger than other types/brands). The price isn't high, but in general I'm willing to pay.
