For me I probably wouldn't buy this because I use it for a lot of things it was NOT designed for. Great tool, wish it wasn't so flimsy. In my opinion, I don't think he will stand up to my demands. I think it breaks very easily. I'm a carpenter who makes a little bit of everything, so I use that as a scraper, crowbar, all LoL. I know it's an artist's tool, but when I started 20 years ago, the guy who basically taught me loved this tool, so I used mine all the time.
