Imagine a thin and light sweatpants material that is more comfortable than capri pants, especially in hot weather. The length is just below the knee, not mid-calf, so the knee doesn't slip or pinch when jogging/exercising. Double stitching on the outside of the shorts. I can wear them all day, anytime, for almost any occasion. I ordered a size large even though my waist size is two inches larger than recommended for a good fit, but the waistband tension is acceptable and feels good, not too tight. For everyday use, the front pockets are deep enough to carry a variety of items, but the back pocket is small and I wouldn't put a wallet in there. I usually use a fanny pack. I've run about 100 miles in these shorts so far, no problem. I will probably buy again.
