The trigger locking is not secure. We used small worm holes in it for plant plugs. Several people accidentally activated the trigger lock. The auger was then sucked into the ground until it got stuck, pulled out of the operator's grips, the power cord coiled up, and finally the cord ripped apart at one point in the line. All the while he loses his temper for a few seconds, spinning and hitting the operator who is desperately trying to regain control. It's especially scary to throw the cord over your shoulder so it doesn't get in the way of your work.
