After years of drinking out of plastic bottles, we found these bottles at a small Pennsylvania bed and breakfast and were so struck by the difference between glass and plastic ice water. I researched and chose these bottles for the stainless steel cap and clean look. It arrived well packaged. They have small, smooth grooves on the bottom to keep them from sliding around on the table. They are the right weight and good glass thickness. We love her. They have a big enough opening for ice cubes, but if you put them in the back of the fridge you won't need them. Good choice for us.
