These are amazing little pumps! I got a 1050gph pump thinking it was "overpriced" but I had to drop the flow rate to about 50% because it was too high. My pond is not very big, 8.5 x 5 feet and its average depth is about 15 inches with a waterfall that needs about 3-3.5 feet of buoyancy and this pump has more than enough power for it. This little pump really pumps water. Sometimes when things are cheap it scares you because you think they're probably cheaper junk, but not in this case. This pump will surprise you at how much water it pumps. The first pump I received was opened and used and it was bad. They immediately sent a replacement and everything was fine. Now the first pump was black and I think it was sprayed because the spare pump is blue. It's sticking out of the bottom of my garden pond like a sore thumb. I'll probably cover this black one like the other one as it looks so much better than the blue one. But this is secondary and does not violate the terms of the contract at all.
