Installed a new pan on my 75g tank, the previous pump didn't work (400gph) so I had to move quickly, next day delivery ++ but the 3/4 thread was wrong and the pump was VERY noisy. You'll get the best pump this weekend. It's very badly designed. But for $17 and change, you get what you pay for.

The pump itself is fine. The reason it didn't get 5 stars is because it has a flow regulator on the side that pushes through with a washer. Whoever assembled it didn't put the gasket in properly, so it jammed so half of it is sticking out. Now I need to find a replacement gasket to make it work properly.

Item received. Housed in a water well with a 3.5 foot lift and 5/8 water hose. Flow was good for 1 minute then became a trickle. I've tried letting it cool down and restarting, the water flow hasn't changed. Checked links. Aside from poor water flow, this pump is noisy. That's not a good pump

Well the pump has been great for about 2 months and now when the power goes out the pump won't start. Just sits and vibrates until you almost pull the pump out of the water, then starts again until you lose power again. I would like the manufacturer to contact me about this. Use in 24" deep aquariums.

Pump arrived on time and intact. Works great in my wife's garden fountain. Pumps a lot of water. You may need to reduce the flow a bit, but this is an easy adjustment. Like most of these little pumps, it tends to clog and either stop or slow down when there is a lot of loose debris in the water. Construction is a little flimsy, but about what I expected for a fairly low price. Only time will tell how long this will last. I would buy again.

I ordered this to replace a burned out drain pump for my fish tank. The 3/4 thread is not screwed to the hose fitting. It's a completely different thread pitch/size. Inside the box are some random plastic shards. the box is damaged. but the box it came in is intact. I will come back for a refund and order another one elsewhere. I'm just glad I have a spare in my ATM. and not relying on my tank to run again.

These are amazing little pumps! I got a 1050gph pump thinking it was "overpriced" but I had to drop the flow rate to about 50% because it was too high. My pond is not very big, 8.5 x 5 feet and its average depth is about 15 inches with a waterfall that needs about 3-3.5 feet of buoyancy and this pump has more than enough power for it. The detachable air intake cover, made of very thin plastic, came almost broken in half, and several plastic "grids" were broken and in the box with no extra cardboard or bubble wrap to protect it during shipment. The pump arrived in a larger box with several other items. The larger box—too big to just bounce items around—had no packaging material to protect the items from damage during transit.
