After only a week, it stopped accepting charges from the kit's adapter without repeatedly rebooting. It may be charged using either the included Huawei adapter or the computer's USB port. Further, the adapter by itself appears to be fine, as it can charge other devices without incident. The ratio of the adapter's power to that of a given smartphone's processor speed may be the point, though. Another new "glitch" was found today: the microphone stopped working when making a call, such that I could hear my interlocutor but he could not. The issue was remedied via a reboot. Reactions to the device are conflicting at the moment. Since this is my first experience with a Xiaomi device, people have presupposed that I will no longer use a Xiaomi smartphone. Buy on recommendation? No.
