This is a simple little timer that should work great but when setting the time it beeps every minute even if I hold the button to quickly increase the time. So if I need to set a timer for 40 minutes, that's 40 beeps. The beeps are loud too. I think I've read in reviews that someone was able to permanently disable the beeps by fiddling with the inside of the timer, but if that's not convenient for you there is a hole on the back of the timer that says "Reorder". No./", and if you put your finger on this hole when setting the time, the beeps will be significantly muffled.
