This laser hair removal product makes a good impression upon receipt. It is packed in a very strong and beautiful purple box. Inside, all components are clearly arranged in their compartments. Also included is a large, detailed and well-written instruction manual, something I don't always find with electronic devices like this. The operation is quite simple once you determine if IPL is right for you. Assuming you're a candidate because of the color of your skin and hair (I've got medium skin and black hair and it suits me), you simply turn on the device, select the desired power level and press a button. A few things to watch out for as per the manual: Shave before using (a cheap razor is included; I use my own). Wear the safety goggles provided. Use it in a well-lit room to minimize eye exposure to the flash. I started at the highest level. I have used another IPL device and used it at the highest level with no issues. Level 5 was too much for me. While this device is a bit heavy, it comes in a handy pistol shape that makes it easy to get anywhere you need to get to. There is also an attachment to focus the light on small areas if needed Other device The one I use promises 1,000,000 flashes and counts down after each flash. s one only counts the number of flashes each use and does not show how many flashes are left. This probably isn't a problem as I'm sure it's in the hundreds of thousands, but I like the display on another device. It will be months before I know how effective the device is. I have used it twice a week on different parts of the body and will continue to do so according to the schedule outlined in the instructions. I hope I can report back with good results.
